To: Fellow Board Members and Management Team
It is with a heavy heart, that I am writing to you my letter of resignation. I have sold our unit. I have enjoyed being on the Board with you, and I cannot thank the staff at CMA enough for the assistance they have provided. I encourage you to stick together as a Board, and to continue to rely on the expertise of CMA.
[Our community] holds its value as a desirable community. As I was leaving the complex last week, a gentleman was driving in...he rolled down his window, and and waved for me to stop. He inquired about our units, and expressed an interest in possibly buying. The gentleman mentioned that this place looks well taken care of. If you do some beautification projects, little by little, this community could look outstanding. Ron will advise on your spending abilities.
I will miss you all. We worked well together and our meetings were so pleasant. Thank you Ron and Melinda for supplying the space, and for your guidance.
Love to all,
Pat

To Whom It May Concern:
In July of 2019 I had a roof leak in my master bedroom. I contacted Condo Management and spoke with Sierra. Here we are in November and I feel like Sierra has become part of my family. We have spoken numerous times since July.
I also want to mention Gala and Ann. All three of these employees are exactly like what a person would expect of their management's employees.
Sierra has gone above and beyond for me regarding my roof. I had issues with the roofing company because they made up stories as to why they could not get into my unit and repair my roof. At this point, after the roofers have been on my roof four times doing repairs, hopefully, there will be no more leaking. I will probably have to wait months for rainy season to start to know whether there are still leaks or not, but, I am so pleased with Sierra's tenacity, professionalism and for helping me through the process.
So, to make this short, Sierra is an outstanding human being, a wonderful young lady who treated me with so much respect, and just the type of person anyone would want on their side.
Sincerely,
M.M.

This is a family friendly association management company that I have had the honor to work with for a few years now. They are prompt on answering questions and provide a top notch service to home owner associations. I highly recommend them for all your association management needs.

I have been on my board of directors for about 7 years, and have been attending the meetings for 10 years. About 8 years ago, we switched from another management company to CMA. The other company had nasty employees who lied, so we definitely needed a change.
I am currently the Vice President on the board and our president has been out of the country, so I have worked very closely with CMA. The board doesn't really do much, it's the management company that does all of the day to day work. Some of the tasks that CMA performs for my condo are answer questions and complaints from residents, send out correspondence, pay our bills, receive maintenance payments from residents, find contractors, answer our mail, respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, screen residents, all of our accounting, background checks on future residents, dealing with foreclosures, working with new owners, leases, attend and assist at board meeting etc etc.
CMA is a family owned and operated business, which is always preferable. Ron and Nancy Saathoff have owned CMA for 27 years!! Twenty seven years! That is saying a lot in South Florida. Talk about longevity. Ron and Nancy are 110% involved with the day to day activities of the business, and they have personally attended every one of our board meetings. Ron handles the finances of the properties that they oversee and he pays great attention to the little details and is very knowledgeable. I feel very secure knowing that my condo's finances are in his hands. I deal with Nancy a little bit more than Ron as she handles everything else. If there is an emergency, or a vote that needs to take place, Nancy is right on it.
CMA is a small company and they have about 5 employees. Melinda is Nancy's assistant with the day to day operations and she is always very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. She seems to take every problem that she encounters personally. One time we were having a problem with a contractor who wanted to be paid for a very shoddy job where he ended up causing damage to something he was supposed to clean. Melinda and I talked on the phone quite a few times about this issue. She called me and told me that she had been thinking about this problem and had come up with a solution. I think she was thinking about this problem quite a bit more that I had, which I certainly appreciate. She is very knowledgeable in management issues.
The other employees at CMA are equally as wonderful and they are always a pleasure to work with. Even when they call me when I'm sitting at the beach relaxing. I'm glad they are there for us.
Management companies get a bad rap, a REALLY bad rap. I'm in law enforcement and I often tell the employees at CMA that their job is way more difficult than mine. Management companies have to deal with a lot of residents that are upset for one reason or another but CMA always handles each situation with tact, understanding, and exemplary customer service skills.

It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation. I have been a board member at Coral Sun Townhomes for the last decade. Most recently, as President. My board experience started in 1982. From 1986 to 2001 I had my own property management company. My perspective is from a homeowner, Board of Director and a prior management company executive. During the past thirty years I have utilized many property management companies and unfortunately an even greater number of managers. Condo Management Alternative, Inc. sets itself apart from the others in three main ways. Integrity, Accuracy and Competence.
Family owned and operated. Integrity starts from the top. Ron and Nancy are quality people, who actively work in the business. Ron runs the bookkeeping department. Nancy's flair is her ability to guide the association in the proper direction. This can be seen in the quality of correspondence that is sent to the homeowners. With prior management companies, I would ask for a draft of all correspondence prior to mailing. With CMA, I don't have to micro manage.
Organization is their strongest suit. Everything is logged. Each Thursday they mail the board a weekly package, which contains correspondence and other items. This goes out on Thursdays like clock work. No deviations. Weekly information allows for timely decision making. Their management report reads like a diary, you know everything that happened. Ask them for a copy of a monthly manager's report so you can see for yourself. No other company has come close to the level of tracking they provide. Gone are the homeowner complaints "I keep calling the management company and they don't do anything." It's all documented. As a board member, we have the information we need to make decisions each week.
Honesty becomes apparent when you spend time with them. Their reputation with vendors, law firms and board members is impeccable. They deserve the respect they get. I appreciate that they answer the phone. They do not use voice mail boxes to hide behind. They do it the old fashioned way. I could go on and on, however I suggest you sit with them and review how then operate. You will be impressed.
Please feel free to contact me.

Dear prospective CMA client:
Greenglades IV has been with Condo Management Alternative since they started business in 1986.
Through the years both GGIV and CMA have grown in knowledge and attitudes, and in the case of CMA size.
Nancy and Ron Saathoff are true professionals - Ron, in all the years I have know him has NEVER made an error on the monthly financial reports, which are easy to read and understand, even for people with no accounting or financial experience. Nancy knows condo law, and in the rare instance where she is not sure, always suggests that the association's attorney is consulted for a legal opinion.
The office staff is both talented and patient - and I'm quite sure every board member knows that residents don't call to say how great things are, only when they are displeased or have a problem do they phone. The girls are ALWAYS polite and patient, no matter how rude and nasty the caller is.
Letters are sent in a timely manner. Contractors are followed up with. Bids are obtained from vendors as needed.
The entire CMA staff is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that their associations are as safe, secure and neat as possible.
If you have any further questions, please call me (954) 753-6479.
