All hurricane shutters must be installed with a permit from your City’s building department. Contact CMA to obtain an Architectural Request Form for your community to get your shutter installation approved before you arrange your installation.
If you decide to put tape up on your windows, please remove the tape and all residue IMMEDIATELY after the storm (the longer you leave it the harder it is to remove).
If you attach plywood to the exterior of the building, please be aware your association reserves the right to bill your unit account for any costs associated with any repairs and painting necessary to restore the building surface.
Please open any shutters and remove other protections as soon as possible after any storms have safely passed.
