10/25/25: The Third Annual CCCC sponsored Oktoberfest and Cornhole Tournament will be held.
9/27/25: The second Monte Carlo/Casino Night Fundraiser was held at the Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department Hall. It was another successful and fun night without anyone losing their own money. A huge thank you to all the volunteers!
4/22/25 - 6/1/25: A second Joe Corbi Fundraiser was successfully held with the delivery date of June 16, 2025. Pizza kits and various other food items were purchased.
5/4/25: A Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser was held from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. It was another successful and fun fundraising event with good food and great company.
4/11/25 - 4/20/25: Watercolors for Donations Photo Fundraiser was held. An artist enhances photos, which are submitted to her digitally, to look like artwork. She returns the completed digital photo to the participant who is then able to take or upload the digital enhanced photo to anywhere that makes canvas prints, T-shirts, mugs, etc.
3/15/25: The Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser, which was held at the Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department, was a huge success. Everyone had fun talking with neighbors and playing games without any risk of losing their own cash. The food was plentiful and tasty. Non cash grand prizes were given to the top 3 winners plus smaller non cash prizes to others.
2/15/25: A Valentine's Breakfast Fundraiser was held at the Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department from 7:00 - 11:00 AM. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast and talking with neighbors. This event was another successful fundraiser thanks to all the volunteers who helped and the participants.
1/27/25: The second Pizza & BINGO Social Fundraiser was held at the Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department. Everyone had a good time visiting with neighbors while eating a tasty dinner followed by a fun game of BINGO. Non cash prizes only. Thank you to all who attended and to all who helped make this event another successful fundraiser.
1/19 - 1/25/25: A second Watercolors for Donations Photo Fundraiser was held. Participants submitted a photo to the artist digitally and she returned it enhanced to look like artwork. Once the digital artwork was returned to the participant, they were able to take it or upload it to any store or online company that makes canvas photos, T-shirts, mugs, etc from a digital photo. All the photos that were shared turned out great!
12/27/24 - 1/22/25: The Joe Corbi's Fundraiser Sale was a success. Pizza kits and other foods and desserts were for sale from the Joe Corbi company. The orders were delivered on February 20th and many of the food items were enjoyed that evening according to participants.
12/2/2024: The Pizza & BINGO social night held at the Greenbackville Fire Department Hall was another successful fundraiser. Everyone had such a fun evening that more of nights like this were requested. Thank you to all who made it possible and to those who attended.
10/19/2024: The CCCC sponsored Second Annual Oktoberfest and Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser was held on Saturday, October 19. Thank you to all who helped make this day a tremendous success and much fun with good food and friendship.
9/24/2024: The judge delivered his decision on the lawsuit with all parties in person on September 24, 2024 at 10:00 at the Accomack County Circuit Court, Accomac, Va.
6/11-6/12/2024: The trial concluded in the late afternoon of 6/12 in Accomack County Circuit Court. We are waiting for the Court's decision and do not know how long it will take.
5/4/2024: The Trivia Night fundraiser held at the Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Dept. Hall was the forth fundraiser sponsored by the CCCC and was another huge success! Thank you to all the CCCC member volunteers and to all who donated and attended.
12/12/2023: A Hearing was held. The judge ruled that the motions and cross motions need to go to trial because they include evidence. In addition, the judge sustained the Demurrer ruling from October 2nd. CCCC will proceed with the appeal process for Captain's Corridor at the legally proper time.
10/14/2023: The Octoberfest fundraiser was the third huge successful event with good fun, food, and company. Thank you to everyone who helped in so many ways.
10/2/2023: Demurrer Hearing was held for Aqua requesting to be removed from lawsuit. As expected Aqua, who was not a Defendant at the request of the Plaintiffs, was removed from the lawsuit because the proper jurisdiction for Aqua in these issues is the State Corporation Commission and not Accomack Circuit Court.
8/4/2023: The Motion to Compel Hearing, which was to compel the Defendant to provide answers to the Plaintiffs’ Interrogatories, was held on 8/4/2023 in Accomack County Circuit. The judge said that the Defendant CCG Note LLC had to answer the Interrogatories.
7/16/2023: The CCCC sponsored Summer Fiesta Dinner on 7/15/2023, was another huge success! Thank you everyone for helping to make the night a fun and rewarding event including the musicians, those who sold tickets, those who helped set up, cook and clean up, everyone who came out and socialized, and all who helped in any other way physically or financially.
5/23/2023: The spaghetti dinner fundraiser hosted by CCCC on May 20, 2023 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped in any numerous variety of ways including from helping to plan, prepare, cook, to enjoying the dinner while meeting neighbors and listening to music, and/or to buying tickets for the private Penny Auction.
2/17/2023: The Concerned Citizens of Captain's Cove appeared in court for the Demurrer Hearing. The judge overruled CCG Note's and CCGYC's demurrer claims which reaffirmed CCCC's BOD standing to file suit.
