Concerned Citizens of Captain's Cove, LLC (CCCC) was formed in May 2009 to provide an avenue for Class A Members of Captain's Cove Golf and Yacht Club, Inc. (CCGYC) to obtain all information available regarding a Purchase Agreement signed by the CCGYC Board of Directors on May 7, 2009 to purchase certain assets from Captain's Cove Group, LLC (CCG), developer.
Since then, the 4Cs (Concerned Citizens of Captain's Cove, LLC) has been very active attending CCGYC member/BOD/Annual meetings, following county and state legislation, voicing our community needs at those meetings and participating in the Eastern Shore of Virginia Ground Water Committee Meetings.
Currently, CCCC is following the future of Captain's Cove very carefully and are taking every step possible to keep the Class A Members of Captain's Cove Golf and Yacht Club, Inc. informed. We also assist members with their community association issues by directing them to whichever office or entity could help resolve their problem. Our CCCC members are active community members and are involved in various CCGYC committees and groups, and local non-profit organizations.
Annual membership dues are used for minimal administrative operating costs such as post office box rental, VA SCC license, Zoom subscription, postage, and copying supplies. The majority of the dues and donations are directly used for litigation of any legal complaint filed on behalf of the Concerned Citizens of Captain's Cove, LLC. The members collaboratively decide, when a community issue arises which cannot be resolved with the current POA board, to seek legal recourse as its' last resort to protect the community members' property rights.
