This question was asked during our session 11/10
"how long can labels be when you add them to an audacity audio track?"
I still do not know the answer but look at this website you might find it there as it is the audacity manual:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/creating_and_selecting_labels.html#create
I am thinking that whoever asked this question wondered if you could put a portion transcribed at that location but if you are going to transcribe the audio it would be better to put the transcription into a Word document or Powerpoint slide and insert the audio clip in that slide or document rather than try to put it in the aup or audacity file itself as a label.
The label's purpose is to find locations in the audio file or to export clips to wav audio files that can be then inserted into Powerpoint or Word or just played individually.

question 3:
Do you know of sites through which it would be easier to find address information if we have names and some address history?
Our Trust & Estate group is looking for a better way to search the web for names, addresses and phone numbers. Currently they are using Google and Dex online.
