As participants are preferred to play mainly by known book authors2. By unknown is required min 100 games (played on Playchess etc) This rule can be called VISA, it's against cheating, more Details3. In this tournament: all opening books allowed (Private+Available) 4. Max.compressed size limit (up to) CTG: 300 MB / BIN: 150 MB Exc. a few MB extra can be acceptable..for frequent book players...5. New book entries will be tested once in 30 days (once per month) Exc., Qualified book players have choice to update once in 30 days In this case, the updated books will be played only in Super League6. As registered players: only one book is allowed (from same author)7. All games will be available after the end of book tour, exception: Only Book Authors can get their games (sure, in case of request...)
Tournament Details:• All opening books are playing by same engine: CF EXT 291120 C40• For each book participant is installed a separate copy of chess engine• On 2x E5-2686 machine are installed and used only chess programs Plus no internet connection (to prevent against any kind of threats) Tournament PC is daily restarted, speed benchmark in every 2-3 days And it seems, all is quite stable, as we see.. no any time forfeits etc.• The ongoing book tours are planning to be active for several months• I plan to test a lot of opening books, from the past to the present! Sure, the main target is that, to be played the decent opening books• Rather than tour, it will be a rating (with min 300 games per player)• Super League Leader (after 300 games...) will be titled as Champion• Chessbase (ctg) main book settings: Learning ON, Optimized, 0/100 Exception, other settings can be used by Author's recommendations Btw, please take a screenshot (in case of request other than 0/100)• Polyglot (bin) books will be tested by Authors suggested settings too• As graphical chess interfaces used: Fritz 12, Fritz 13, Fritz 14 GUIs That means parallel matches (a few separate Fritz GUIs are played) I don't prefer newer ChessBase ones such as Fritz 15, Fritz 16 GUIs, Due to 'Book Learning' does not work in Gauntlet, Round-robin mode• Why I preferred as NON-NNUE, 3 Min, 4 Core+ 8 Core/Game is that,- The main reason is simply to reduce the overall draw percentage.. Some details about my created books,• SCCT is tuned to prefer the games by Balsa + Perfect 2020/21 I mean, SCCT is not based on games played in book tourneys• SPCC opening book is based on Blitz games, source SPCC• CCRL is based on Blitz plus on 40/15 games, source CCRL• FGRL book based on 10m+6s plus 60m+10s games FGRL• CEGT book is based mainly on Blitz games, source CEGT• FCP is the smallest book, based 40/12 games, source FCP To be more clear, all of them are based on decent games, Played mainly by Top NNUE engines and during tuning Each opening book as 'main move' the wins are optimized All of them are up to 60 plies, Total: 65 MB (compressed size) That means each book is very small in size, minus plus 10 MB Btw, these kind of books include many critical (weak) openings! Because, you may know... theirs deep lines are not optimized.. But this is also true, some of them are better/stronger in openings! Anyhow, please don't take too seriously the results, just fun tours! Note also that (for more fair conditions...) I realized to create A few CTG books, e.g tuned to prefer theirs BIN openings Just a few examples, which I managed to create/test so far: Zeus book is played as Dual, via Zeus.bin and Zeus ctg Here are the rest books, tested with same method (bin+ctg): Cevdet2, Cerebellum 3Merge, Everest, Kain etc. books In case of interest (bin+ctg) I can create for others as well But for a close book style...more than 1000 games required In other words, a new idea...and I am doing my best...!). But all credits are going to Top book makers....!! Bear in mind too (about the rest participated books), There are many books, created by other authors too... Plus the new tour format is similar type as CS 49 / CS 40 And as a last note, I strongly believe in that, CS LII is the hardest book tour that I've ever seen... E.g 6 opponents, which are based on Top NNUE games What I can say more, just with importing games... The new book entries have no BIG chances to qualify.. No doubt a very special hand-tuning is required... Otherwise, it's like a 'lottery' to be in Super League tour...
