Why should I pay dues?
The community association has no influence over the individual residential properties. We were created solely to maintain the park and entrance ways. Each resident is a partial owner of these areas. If an incident were to occur in these areas each individual resident could be held liable.
Your dues pay for park/island up keep, mowing and insurance. If you do not pay your dues, we can not afford to keep up insurance payments or safe park equipment which could lead to injury and a lawsuit. Yes, we would all be involved in the lawsuit.
