We had a fantastic time at the National Night Out on August 7, 2012 at our community park – there were 60 neighbors in attendance! Everyone really enjoyed the parade through the neighborhood, the hot dogs and ice cream, the tug-o-war contest, obstacle course, water bucket races and of course the water balloons. The Bel Air Police Department and the Bel Air Fire Department were also there to interact with our community. We especially want to thank Debbie Adolph for organizing this wonderful event and Tim Snee for cooking hot dogs for all of us!

We were able to spread some new mulch under the playground equipment and chip up a lot of the tree limbs that have fallen down. Another major accomplishment was that we got some of the trees planted along the road! We were able to plant some Redbud trees, which when mature will show some beautiful purple blossoms in the spring and frame the park perfectly! And thanks to some “clever” engineering, we were able to save the swing set instead of having to remove it! Yay! We still have some work to do on the park, but we really were able to accomplish a LOT with the help of these WONDERFUL volunteers!!! Thank you again!
