The purpose of the Coker Hills Neighborhood Association is to foster a sense of community and keep our neighborhood a special place to live. Your dues pay for landscaping and maintenance of the E. C. Leonard Park and our entrance signs, fund our neighborhood newsletters and other communications, and support neighborhood social events suc, h as our community picnic, ice cream social, Oktoberfest, and concerts in the park. Membership is not mandatory for residents of Coker Hills, but we hope you will support our community!

Our fiscal year runs from January through December. Annual membership of $50 per year for each household allows us to put on neighborhood events and pays for maintenance of E.C. Leonard Playground and Park.

If you would like to join the Board of Directors of the CHNA or otherwise volunteer, send an email, with the subject line "Join the Board," to cokerhills@gmail.com.

The Board of Directors includes the following positions and responsibilities. Board members serve one year terms.

President: Chairs the Board and conducts meetings, acts as general spokesperson of the CHNA, and maintains documents related to the CHNA.

Vice President: Assists the president and acts in their absence, and is responsible for securing a location for association meetings.

Treasurer: Collects Association dues, pays bills, manages the bank account, maintains financial and membership records, and periodically makes written financial reports to the Board.

Secretary: Records and maintains minutes of general membership and Board meetings, maintains the website and Google Drive, and manages correspondence.

At large: Voting members of the Board who advise and take on duties as needed.

The E.C. Leonard Park is managed by a separate organization.
