Hi,
We hope you enjoyed your time here with us. This is the end of the line for this year. No crying now, because we will be back in February. So here are some pointers to help you decide on what to do next.
If you are interested in circuits and hardware, then Microelectronics with Arduino is for you. If you have already got the kit we use, you can look at further projects here.
If you are interested in how to start programming and an introduction to computing, then Exploring IT using Micro:bit is for you. We have saying, "If you make it, you can play it ! - so here's a game to make.
If you are interested in writing apps for a smartphone, then App Inventor from MIT is for you.
An Advent calendar is a special calendar used to count the days of Advent in anticipation of Christmas. We have an App Inventor advent calander here.
Note nobody absorbs all information first time around, so if you want to redo a stream, then that’s cool.
If you want a challenge, start thinking about a project for Coderdojo Coolest Projects .
We will be restarting in early February. In order to attend, you must register and have a ticket. The good news is, this is free !
We will be sending details of how to do this on our email contact list around a week before we restart. What do you mean you are not signed up to our email contact list ? Log on to our website www.coderdojocastleknock.com straight away and sign up here,
We will email all in our email distribution list and update details on applying for tickets for our next term after Christmas and also here.
Please note you cannot pre-book places unfortunately, so please keep an eye out for the email letting you know when ticket booking opens.
Thanks,
Coder Dojo Castleknock Team
