This is the end of the line for this now. No crying now, because we will be back in Autumn. So here are some pointers to help you decide on what to do next.

We do change options, but currently..

  • If you are interested in how to start programming, then Starting Programming is for you.
  • If you are interested in Game Development, then guess what, Game Development, part 1 of 2 is for you.
  • If you are interested in dipping your toe into both hardware and software (and can cut paper), then guess what, Exploring the Micro:bit is for you.

Note nobody absorbs all information first time around, so if you want to redo a stream, then that’s cool.

A hedgehog is said to go dormant for winter, i.e. it goes into a long deep sleep. CoderDojo Castleknock is somewhat like the hedgehog, except we go dormant for spring and summer.

We will be restarting in autumn. In order to attend, you must register and have a ticket. The good news is, this is free!

We will be sending details of how to do this on our email contact list around a week before we restart. What do you mean you are not signed up to our email contact list. Log on to our website www.coderdojocastleknock.com straight away and sign up ( look in contact ). Follow us on;

To keep up to date. We will email all in our email distribution list and update details on , and www.coderdojocastleknock.com website.

Please note you cannot pre-book places unfortunately, so please keep an eye out for the email letting you know when ticket booking opens.

while your here ..

26th May RDS, see www.coolestprojects.org to get a ticket, a fun day out.

The Coolest Projects awards were created in 2012 to deliver and support the following principals

  • Creativity
  • Innovation
  • Entrepreneurship
  • The introduction and showcasing of different aspects of STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ) education through coding.

The Coolest Projects awards are unique in Europe and were established on a voluntary basis by a number of industry professionals as both a competition and exhibition to support and inspire a generation of innovators, creators and entrepreneurs aged from 7 to 17.

The awards, which are now in their fifth year, create a unique platform for young people to develop a broad set of digital abilities by offering them the opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned at CoderDojo.
