Have a strong desire to learn--not on an intellectual level-but by experiencing things. Look for deeper spiritual understanding.
Thoughts are immediately cut off by the cold. A feeling of inner peace and enormous strength comes with cold training. The sensation of a strength and power much greater than the self takes hold. Learn to love ice cold water. Discover the impact the cold has on the body, and above all, the mind. Search for the power of nature. Train the body and mind under extreme circumstances by controlling breathing. Through breathing exercises the fear and negative experience of the the cold transform into a powerful form of energy. Breathing is an important instrument.
Through daily bike rides in the sun, bad memories and depressive thoughts disappear. It is the impact of a ‘normal’ natural phenomenon.
Yoga is a spiritual experience. The body and mind become one. The body becomes the vehicle, not just a tool.
