The Rule of 5
Out of five workouts on average:
One is outstanding
One is awful
Three are punch the clock
We can all train pretty hard but then we have to ease up a bit. We want a balanced mix of easy, medium and hard workouts.
As we progress, and to keep things interesting always, redefine easy. Try a new lift on those days or invent a new protocol.
Embrace lousy days for a great day may be just around the corner.
Don’t let a great day ruin years of training by thinking this is the new norm. Enjoy the day but keep humility.
