There are two rules in training
Everything works, but only for so long.
Doing everything all at once will destroy you.
To do everything at once, you have to be lousy at everything. To be great we have to focus on very few things.
Charlie Francis: The problem with most people’s training is that their highs are too high and their lows are too low.
Everything works but it's well worth our time to get good at something. Be sure to double check a few weeks or months later to see if it still works. For example:
The 30 day velocity diet
A 30 day yoga class
One year on Olympic lifts.
Instead of having off days or ‘easy’ days. Consider food prep days: the other side of good training.
There’s a place for punch the clock workouts, but be sure to plan for punching it up often, too.
