Preface
A ‘natural’ method of giving vigor to the body without need for artificial apparatus nor harsh systems of dieting is most reasonable and doable. Training continues uninterrupted if not beholden to special machinery. Build up the slender frame and avoid unwanted fat deposit without the employment of machinery nor harsh and weakening methods of dieting. The direct method of keeping the body vigorous is accomplished by correcting artificial restraints, carrying the body correctly, breathing correctly and following a logical system of progression that gives the muscles and organs free and natural play and opportunities to develop symmetry and strength. Hard muscles are a danger and not an advantage.
