Ten Questions. The first five are easy to answer but require honesty. The second five take more thought but require less courage:
Questions
What’s your goal? Your point B?
Is it a health or fitness goal?
Will this allow you to spiral out, to enlarge your life?
What quadrant are you in?
How old are you?
What do you lift in the weight room?
What are your gaps and are you willing to go back to the basics?
Assess, reassess, reassess
The issues...Are you willing to correct your problems?
Would you mind if everything was seamless from start to finish?
5 principles - Begin at the beginning..go until you reach the end. Then stop.
Strength training for lean body mass and joint mobility trumps everything else.
The fundamental human movements are fundamental.
Standards and gaps must be constantly assessed.
The notion of park bench and bus bench workouts must be addressed throughout the training career.
Constantly strive for mastery and grace.
