(02) The single best ergonomic position? No such thing.
There is not a healthy way for the body to sit for long periods of time. The problem is rarely the position we hold our bodies in but the high frequency that we are in a repetitive positions. By being in one position, there is an infinite number of positions going unused. The best way to be in front of a computer is very little.
Consider ranges of motion and the movement drought that atrophies the muscles and other tissues. Move more throughout the day.
Create intermittent movement opportunities, on both a large and small scale, while still getting job tasks done.
Job Stress - If busy dumping muscle tensing, tunnel vision making, respiration and heart rate increasing hormones into the bloodstream, body tissues break down and the risk of injury increases. See where work stress can be eliminated. Both health and productivity depend on it. Put health first.
