ABOUT THE GROUP

Class Act is a group of poets who are regular or occasional students in classes conducted by poet Susan Donnelly, author, most recently of The Maureen Papers and Other Poems, also of Eve Names the Animals, Transit, Capture the Flag and six chapbooks . Class Act poets have published several books and chapbooks, won awards from The New England Poetry Club and had individual poems published in Poetry, The Massachusetts Review, Off the Coast, Passager, Poetry Northwest and elsewhere.

We have given poetry readings as a group in Boston area venues and plan more for 2011. This website is a way to keep up to date with our own activities, take note of items of general interest to writers and to link with other poetry associations and groups. We hope you enjoy visiting the Class Act site and learning more about our work.
