Before retirement in 2012, I served as the safety manager for Los Alamos National Laboratory’s particle accelerator facility. I'm now pursuing a lifelong aviation interest as a volunteer search and rescue pilot for Civil Air Patrol and co-owner of a small airplane. My creative outlet is poetry, with poems appearing in The Laurel Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, Taos Journal of Poetry, Painted Bride Quarterly, and elsewhere. I live in Santa Fe, NM with my energetic wife Judy, who orchestrated a most wonderful round-the-world trip and many other travel adventures. Our son, daughter-in-law, and grand-dog Morris live next door. Forest is an artist, an electronics designer specializing in building and selling music pedals and synthesizers, and an experimental music composer. Savannah is an architect and helps with the pedal business.
