Right on the edge of 400 feet high cliffs Southdown Farm is in an enviable position within the South Hams of South Devon. Designated an area of outstanding natural beauty between Bolt Head and Bolt Tail we are mid way between the pretty village of Hope Cove and the summer bustle of Salcombe.
We farm a National Trust 446 acre farm with cattle, sheep and crops. Some of the crops are used in our seed mixes for Soar Mill Seeds (approx 40%). The farm is in a Higher Level Stewardship Scheme because it has the rare Cirl Bunting and Shore Dock to look after.
