STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS and APPLICATIONS

The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE " STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS and APPLICATIONS" will take place at A.S.E. (Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti), Department of Applied Mathematics, co-organized by A.S.E. and Universitatea Transilvania (Brasov, Romania).  It is supported by the research grant

The main topics will include:

1. Brownian motion and Gaussian processes

2. stochastic integration

3. stochastic equations

4.  statistical inference for stochastic processes

The conference will take place at the Academy for Economical Studies, Piata Romana, Bucuresti.

To find the room, the best is to take the entrance from Calea Dorobantilor in the Faculty of Cibernetics (Facultatea de Cibernetica). The room is situated at the 4th floor. Sala 2416.

 The hotel is located at the intersection of two well-known boulevards in Bucharest (Calea Victoriei and Bulevardul Dacia). It is within a walking distance (15 minutes) from  the conference place.

Arrival from the Otopeni Airport:

 The easiest way to go from the airport to the hotel is to take a taxi. Once you exit the baggage claim, you fin don your right a machine zwhere you can order a taxi by touching on the screen the name of a company (the price per kilometer of each company is written there, all companies have more or less the same price).

 The fare from the airport to the hotel should be less than 40 RON (1 euro=4,5 RON approx.)

 Another posibility is to take  the bus. You need to follow the inscription “Bus to Bucharest” and to take the bus 783. There is a counter to buy tickets near the station. The Airport Bus stops at Piata Romana and then there a 5 minute walk on the Bulevardul Dacia.

From the hotel to the conference center:

 Go straight on Bulevardul Dacia until Piata Romana. Cross Piata Romana untill Bulevardul Dacia meets Calea Dorobantilor. Turn left on Calea Dorobantilor. The first building on your left is Facultatea de Cibernetica.

The conference room is at the 4th floor,  sala 2416.

Meals :

 The dinners   on Tuesday 16,   and  Thurday 18 as well as the lunches on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 will be served at the Golden Tulip Hotel.  All the speakers are invited.

 The conference dinner will be organized on Wednesday December 17 at the restaurant Carul cu Bere (http://www.carucubere.ro/en/). All the speakers are invited.
