Welcome to our site!

January 13-20, 2018 three members of our church travelled to Caimito, Puerto Rico to provide disaster relief from Hurricanes Irma and Maria.  More than 50 pounds of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs were donated by church members and given to the local church-based community center.  While in Caimito the group worked on removing trees from homes, securing tarps to damaged roofs, fixing damaged roofs permanently, and rebuilding a local food pantry.  The efforts were warmly welcomed by members of the community. Caimito has been without power since September 2017 and there is no timetable for when power might return to the impoverished community.  Pastor Ben Walters, one of the workers along with Steve Brady and Ren Ramer, said the time in Puerto Rico was a blessing for all involved.  "We went to help out, but we came away inspired by the strength and faith of our Puerto Rican sisters and brothers.  They were battered by wind and rain and storms, but their Spirit has not been broken.".

A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
