Dr Christos Mavrodimitrakis

I am Christos and I welcome you to my webpage.

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Reading, UK; and a research fellow (affiliated member) at the Data Analytics for Finance and Macro research centre at King's Business School, King's College London, UK. Previously, I was a Teaching Fellow in Economics at King's Business School, and a visiting research scholar (Fulbright fellow) at George Mason University, VA, USA. I hold a PhD in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and an MSc in Economics from the University of York, UK. My primary research fields include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and political economy. My research interests cover the areas of fiscal/monetary policy interactions, applied game theory, the theory of economic policy in a strategic context, and the economics of the European Monetary Union. I am particularly interested in policy conflict, coordination, and institutional design. Parts of my research appear in internationally excellent and recognised peer-reviewed academic journals, such as  the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, the International Journal of Finance and Economics, the Journal of Macroeconomics, the European Journal of Political Economy, and Economic Modelling.
