About Christopher

Hello, before I introduce myself, I’d like to thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in receiving counseling services from me. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and request help from another person. My name is Christopher A. Kelm and I’d like to help you work through the current stressors, issues, or concerns in your life or the life of someone you know and care about. If you are wanting to work through what is negatively impacting your relationships, including your relationship with yourself, please give me a call so that we can work together to get you through it.

It is my goal to work with you to help you gain or regain a sense of peace and normalcy within your life. One of the strengths that I bring to our work together is my compassionate and caring nature and the sensitivity to recognize the courage it takes to face fears and take steps, such as counseling, in order to get to where you want to be. I am honored to take those steps with you.

My Experience: I have been counseling a variety of clients with various issues and obstacles, in a variety of settings, for over ten years. Past work experiences have been gained through my Private Practice Setting, Fresno Family Therapy, On-Site Counseling Program, The Well Counseling Center, Central Valley Counseling Center, Fresno Family Counseling Center, Progressive Group Homes, Victim Offender Reconciliation Program, the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and California State University, Fresno.

My Education:

- M.S. Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy – Fresno State

- B.S. Degree in Criminology, Victimology – Fresno State

- Certificate in Victim Services; Certificate in Drug & Alcohol Studies – Fresno State

- Certificate in Mediation Services, which utilizes the communication model for relationships, from the Victim Offender Reconciliation Program of Fresno, CA.
