My name is Lowe, and I'm on a quest to discover extraordinary dark chocolate.
My journey started innocently enough in 2007. I was in a store with a decent selection of chocolate, and I asked myself a simple question, "I wonder which of these chocolates I'd like the most?" That was the first step into a new world that I never even knew existed-- the world of fine dark chocolate.
I'm just an average guy with an average palate, but I've learned a great deal after tasting hundreds of chocolate bars.
I want to make sure that you understand that my ratings merely reflect my enjoyment of the bars I've tasted; my ratings are NOT meant to be a measure of the quality of any bar. In other words, my ratings are answer the question, "what chocolate do I enjoy the most?" NOT "what is the best chocolate?" For many reasons, trying to discover "what is the best chocolate in the world?" is an impossible task.
Tastes vary, so your experience may well differ from mine.
I taste a lot of chocolate, from the sublime to the bars I had to throw away. (I might say, "I've tasted the yucky stuff so that you don't have to." But then again, tastes vary so much that you might enjoy some of my low rated bars more than I did.)
