You may be interested to know that I have just attended a seminar in Brussels at which economist Prof. David Paton of Nottingham University presented well-researched data showing, inter alia, that the government's £300 million spending on a programme to reduce teenage pregnancy through sex education in schools, plus other measures like the morning-after pill, have had no significant effect at all on teenage pregnancy rates (they had set a target of reducing the rate by 50%, but achieved nothing). At the same time the campaign was associated with a rapid increase in sexually transmitted diseases.
You may want to consult the Professor's work. He has published a number of papers.
I saw a short video clip which (he says) is widely used in schools for children aged as young as seven. It showed graphic cartoon images of sexual intercourse which were practically pornographic. It presented sex in a very positive light with no moral or practical warnings about potential dangers.
Good luck with your meeting.
Best regards.
