Dr. Chih-Sheng Huang received the B.S. degree from Department of Statistics and Information Science at the Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2007; the M.S. degree form Graduate Institute of Educational Measurement and Statistics at the National Taichung University of Education, Taichung, Taiwan, in 2010; and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Electrical Control Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2015.

He was a visiting scholar at the University of California San Diego (Institute for Neural Computation), San Diego, California, in 2013-2014, an ARL Visitor at the US Army Research Laboratory (Human Research and Engineering Directorate), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, in 2013/10-11, and a postdoctoral associate at brain research center of National Chiao Tung University in 2015-2016.

2016-2018: Dr. Huang joined the research and development division in two start-up companies, Singular Wings Medical Co. and Maisence Medical Co., respectively, and focused on developing AI-based ECG algorithm development (especially atrial fibrillation detection), assisting to apply the IEC-60601-2-47 (510k), and making the AI-based AFib detection clinical test in Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, Keelung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Dr. Huang’s research in machine learning and data science in bio-signal analysis, has resulted in nearly 20 publications.

He presently serves as assistant manager with artificial intelligence research and development of product development division at the ELAN microelectronic corporation. At the same time, Dr. Huang is also a jointly appointed assistant professor in College of Artificial Intelligence, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. His major duty is deep learning model development in image, big data analysis, and further developing the edge-based image AI algorithms. His current research interests include deep learning, machine learning, big data analysis, and bio-signal analysis.
