I am a Senior Lighting and Compositing Artist, Lighting Consultant, and mentor in the animation industry. I've spent nearly 20 + years with Walt Disney Studios, beginning as a Color Stylist on 2D films such as Mulan, Lilo and Stitch, and Brother Bear. As a lighting and compositing artist with Disney, I've had the opportunity to work on Oscar-winning films — Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and Encanto, to name a few. I've had the great fortune to work in studios across the US and Canada and call many fantastic cities home.
Outside of my work on animated feature films, I've also completed a certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto Continuing Studies department. My first novel, October Mountain, was honored in the 91st annual Writer’s Digest writing competition. My love of yoga brought me to Costa Rica, where I trained and received my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I currently split my days between Montreal and a magical cottage on the south shore of Seneca Lake in New York.
I am a US citizen but also maintain permanent residency in Canada. I am open to remote work.
