Welcome to the Technology Innovations for Systems Biology Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Institute for Health Innnovation and Technology (iHealttech) at the National University of Singapore.

We are a multidisciplinary research group focused on combining engineering expertise with novel molecular biology techniques to develop tools for biomedical research.

We invent innovative technologies for bio-sample preparation and disease diagnosis to meet the evolving healthcare needs of society.

We also develop technology platforms to perform precision measurements of multiple modalities (e.g. genetic, epigenetic, transcriptomics) in individual cells. Integration of these multidimensional measurements will form the basis of “Single Cell Systems Biology”, which will be instrumental in understanding human health and diagnosing, monitoring and treating diseases
