To complete Activity #4, view the slideshow (embedded beneath this paragraph) then examine the collage of pictures. Each depicts a specific person, event, or issue of importance regarding Canadian popular culture in the 1920s. Use clues from the pictures, the list of questions from the "Interpreting and Analyzing Visual Sources" article and reliable sources to complete this activity. You may use the Google Doc titled "Pop Culture in the 1920s - Analyzing Visual Sources Activity Sheet" to record your findings. This activity sheet contains the questions to pose when reading visual sources from the "Interpreting and Analyzing Visual Sources" article. The activity sheet is posted beneath the pictures below, be sure to open, make a copy in your Google account and then fill in your answers.

Optional/Extra Resources: To gain additional knowledge and understanding of Canada in the 1920s, you may choose to watch a film from National Film Board of Canada, called "The Good Bright Days" embedded below and access the Canada Scrapbook - 1920s available through the link below the film. Both will help you better understand the decade of the 1920s and will provide you with additional information that you may use when composing your "Roaring Twenties" inquiry project.
