About me

I am a Teaching Associate within the Mathematics Department at the University of Bristol. This involves teaching on courses across all undergraduate years, administrative duties, and mentoring/personal tutoring.

I research in the field of infinite groups; broadly I have looked at posing questions for infinite groups that have been well studied for finite groups e.g. invariable generation, degree of commutativity, and the automorphism structure of certain permutation groups. These questions are multi-faceted. I have mainly used algebra, analysis, and combinatorial-style arguments in my work.

Since completing my PhD with Armando Martino at the University of Southampton, I have been at Bath and Bristol. I have also undertaken writing work for Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Pearsons, and smaller companies.

During my PhD I also started a blog to introduce group theory.
