I am in the Mathematics Department at the University of Bristol.
My research involves infinite groups. A theme of my work is to pose questions for infinite groups that have been well studied for finite groups. So far this includes studying minimal generation, 3/2 generation, invariable generation, degree of commutativity, and the structure of certain centralisers and automorphism groups. Aspects of algebra, analysis, and combinatorics all appear in my work.
I did my PhD at Southampton, supervised by Armando Martino. I then worked at Bath before coming to Bristol in 2018. I have also undertaken writing work for Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Pearsons, and smaller companies.
