About
My name is Peixin Chang. I am a Ph.D. student in HCA Lab in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I am advised by Professor Katherine Driggs-Campbell. In 2017, I got my B.S. degree in ECE at UIUC with Professor Stephen E. Levinson as my senior thesis adviser.
My research focus is on language understanding and social navigation, and my methods draw inspiration from human learning experiences. My ultimate goal is to realize the commercialization of personal and social robots that live and work outside the robotics labs.
