Description: In charge of creating several analytical products for end-customers. This often includes a heavy use of data mining-based coding (ie: R and Python) along with database theoretical work. Project wise, this invovled the creation of an analytical dashboard in R to summarize some career broading-based survey results for the contracting division. Another project involved the production of text mining plots - in R - for a center-wide briefing, which was eventually delivered to the 3- and 4- star general.

Operations Research Analyst, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH, HEBCO Inc. July 2014 - May 2017
Description: Chad was an operations research analyst at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH for the Air Force Sustainability (AFSC) Center. This role primarily involves the development of statistical and mathematical models for a wide array of purposes including control-based quality improvement within the Supply Chain of the US Air Force. Other skill set expertise include relational database mining and general programming.
The major project worked on during this time was the F-22 scheduling tool for the scheduling office at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. The F-22 scheduling tool was Microsoft ACCESS VBA-based tool which could schedule both the requirements and capacity for both the infrastructure and manpower for the F-22 office at Hill AFB. This tool was utilized to a high degree by the end-client and received several accolades, including honoral mention as the David Rist prize at the Military Operations Research Symposium and the front page of the Wright Patterson AFB newspaper.
Sr. Statistical Analyst, comScore Inc., August 2012 – January 2014
Description: Chad has taken part in and lead several statistical related projects during his tenure as a Sr. Statistical Analyst at comScore. One of the main projects that Chad worked on was an algorithm to automatically detect whether a mobile hand-set device is defective or not. In order to complete this project, Chad worked with several teams throughout comScore including the architecture and data base administration team. Chad also worked on several other statistical related projects such as Hadoop which is a distributed processing environment.

Description: Chad combined his expertise and love of statistics, study design, and medical research to produce TheGastroEnterologyBlog (thegastroenterologyblog.blogspot.com). The purpose of the blog was to provide a quick resource for gastroenterologists to catch up on the important research related to their practice and for statisticians to receive critical feedback and advice on their investigative work.
Clinical and Translational Science Pre-Doctoral Fellow, University of Pittsburgh, August 2010 – August, 2011
Description: Applied and received funding for a translational Bioinformatics research project under the supervision of two mentors from the Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. The research project dealt with the identification and analysis of etiological factors (both genetic and environmental) which cause disease. Chad also used a variety of statistical software packages such as SAS and SPSS during this work tenure.
