Hi, welcome to my home page! This page is meant to be a reference to learn basic information about me and to share my reference scripts in various analytical topics. Among other things, this site provides info on my background, education, work experience, awards/dinstinctions and publications.
If you click on the reference primers site at the side of this page, you can download some of the reference primer scripts that I have created, which can greatly aid in learning - or used as a quick refresher - for various analytical languages such as R and Simio. These reference primers are generally geared towards programming and statistical related topics.
About Chad
Chad graduated with a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Pittsburgh in July of 2012. For his dissertation, Chad created a new algorithm for network-based gene prioritization which was eventually accepted and published in the very prestigious PLOS One journal. After graduation, Chad was hired as a senior statistical analyst at comScore Inc. - based in Reston, VA - where he accrued a wealth of statistical related experience - particularly with the programming language R - under the direction of some very affluent applied statisticians. Currently, Chad works as a civilian Operations Research Analyst (ORA) within the Air Force Supply Command (AFSC) of the US Air Force. In this DoD capacity over the years, Chad has produced several analytical end-products for a variety of AF clients - including productions delivered at the 3 and 4 star general level.
In his free time, Chad enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, guitar, and piano. Chad is also actively involved in the Knights of Columbus at his local parish.
Overview of Experience:
- Several years of industry and government experience as a statistical analyst and software engineer working in a team environment
- Extensive experience in data mining based coding development, with particular expertise in the statistical language R. This includes several RMarkdown and RShiny end-customer productions.
- A PhD with a broad background in the computer, statistical and operational sciences
