Hosting

Hosting an event:

We encourage whoever is interested and able to host an event. Here are some guidelines for hosting:

• space for at least 2 poker tables.

• while some guys like to smoke cigars/pipes, it's not necessary that you allow smoking (several of our regular hosts do not allow smoking)

• while players are encouraged to bring their own beverages and a snack to pass, often a host will provide something hot (cheese dip, meatballs, little smokies, etc)

• if possible, provide a pitcher of water and cups

• the host gets their first $5 buy-in for free

• poker tables, cards, and chips can be provided by the group
