Who are we?

Who are we?

We are a group of community-minded citizens from the Cessnock area who enjoy friendship while voluntarily serving the community through a variety of service projects and fundraising. We meet twice a month for a dinner meeting at which plan activities and often have guest speakers.  

We are proudly chartered (in 1953)  by the International Association of Lions Clubs, which now has 1.4 million members around the world in over 200 countries.

100% of the nett proceeds of our public fundraising activities is applied to the service projects we support,  because our members pay membership dues to cover our organisation's administrative costs.
