About SHRM

Society for Human Resource Management is a professional business program with national members. The world of HR is engaging, exciting and constantly changing, and SHRM will give you hands-on insight to that! Our program is dedicated to helping students develop professionally, as a student, and individual.

SHRM at CMU includes:

• Promoting the field of HR by having guest speakers from a variety of major companies
• Workshops to enhance your professional development- such as resume critiquing, interviewing skills, how to land an internship, team building, and more!
• Mentor/mentee program
• Tours of local companies and their HR department
• Debates on current topics that pertain to Human Resources
• Social and volunteer opportunities!
