Just like Kayne West, Nicholas Sparks has an ego the size of the solar system. Sparks believes that he writes “love stories” and tries to create “modern-day versions of the Greek Tragedies."
His “love stories” are sappy and saccharine romance novels filled with melodrama. They are also repetitive and clichéd.
And the movies are shitty too.
A Walk to Remember: Landon Carter, the son of a wealthy congressman falls in love with Jamie Sullivan, a minister’s daughter. Also, includes a Bible-thumping minister and leukemia. {Currently snarking.}
The Rescue: blurb coming soon. {Snarking after A Walk to Remember.}
