• Design and Support of Communication needs of NASA Missions: Studies of intelligent architectures and related networking/coverage/interference/traffic load and security issues in order to support current and future requirements of NASA missions.
• Design of an air-to-ground VDL Mode 2 Network for supporting the needs of civil aviation: Parameter optimization, site selection, layout cost and safety analysis, protocol & traffic optimization.
• Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation in Broadband Networks: Development of optimal policies for supporting various services with specific QoS.
• Security and Reliability in Wireless/Hybrid Networks: Protocol security, authentication, key distribution, threat and vulnerability risk assessments, ensuring resource availability.
• Internet protocols (TCP/IP) over wireless and space systems: Performance analysis, performance enhancement proxies, interconnection of hybrid (wired/wireless) networks.
• Satellite Constellation Design: LEO/MEO/GEO systems, trade-off studies for switching on the ground or on-board switching, network topology options, coverage, hand-off, congestion control, routing and load balancing with inter-satellite links.
• Delay Tolerant Networks: Routing capable of operating efficiently with frequently disconnected, pre-scheduled, or opportunistic link availability, high link error rates, and networking in environments where round-trip-times may be large.
• Mobile Tactical Communications: Satellite and wireless hybrid architectures for secure information dissemination, ad-hoc networks for tactical units on the move.

We have worked on projects related to Space Commercialization and optimization of satellite and space communications for several US government (NASA, FAA and DoD) and commercial clients (such as Hughes Network Systems, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, INTELSAT and other major companies) in the aerospace and telecom business.

We offer significant experience on all aspects of program capture, proposal writing and technical project management and have contributed more than 100 technical paper publications on a variety of topics.
