Chandra's Quest
In an alternate universe, Earth was invaded by a race of aliens from a planet called Nykarus and the result was a war that lasted five years, until a distress signal was sent out two years after the war started and intercepted by an old enemy of the Ny’Karin race.
The Kygourins fought side by side with humans to defeat the invaders, sending them back to the Pledius star system. However, many humans were stored in cryo-chambers on board the Ny’Karin motherships. When the Ny’Karins arrived on their home world, they distributed the Humans they had to habitable planets to the nearby solar systems; their funereal fate sealed to serve as slaves. Unlike many humans that were scattered throughout the system, Chandra an Enforcer (a cyborg soldier) was not meant to be a part of the culling, through a strange twist of fate, she was taken to one of Eurleau’s moons, Dyna and auctioned off to a Madam of an elite brothel. Adara takes her to the city Mu and Chandra undergoes a transformation, enabling her to serve as a high-class prostitute. Several years pass and Soran, Emperor of Nykarus, has tracked down Chandra. He pays Adara Sunn a visit, demanding that she hands Chandra over to him. She reluctantly agrees however, a clandestine meeting with a bounty hunter named Xenos, has swayed her decision and she sells Chandra to him. Xenos and Chandra leave Southern Atlan and her Life at the brothel ends but her quest to find the truth about herself, begins. The implant in her head is just the beginning. Her journey will take her to lands she has never seen before and dangers she must face along the way.
Chandra's journey continues as she faces an uncertain future. Xenos and Chandra are on the run from the Ny’Karin empire. A wealthy friend of Xenos has offered one of his estates as a haven. They both stay for a few months, but Xenos knows he must return to the planet Barunda with Chandra. Dukar, Xenos' trusted friend, offers a solution; they concoct a plan to leave Eurleau, undetected by the Ny'Karins. Their plan fails but through a twist of fate, Chandra's surreptitious plan succeeds. She escapes and stows away on a ship heading to Aurora, there she is thrown into another brothel. Shortly after her arrival, an enigmatic bounty hunter emerges. She storms the brothel and takes Chandra. After spending time with Makea, Chandra manages to escape from the bounty hunter and makes her way to Carlos, a merchant's slave who she met before she was sold to Xenos. Together, along with her best friend Keeja, they travel to Lyvia, where they meet Treau a changeling. He guides them to Avolea, a mysterious forest deep within the continent Lyvia. It is there where Chandra's fate takes a turn. While at the Sanctuary she discovers the truth about herself and her connection to Soran, unfortunately a foreboding fate awaits her.
As Chandra gets ever closer to unearthing Soran’s plans, she discovers a much darker and sinister plot brewing in the mist. Soran contrives to invade Earth once again using a new advanced technological weapon, which will annihilate the remaining people on Earth, and turn the planet into another Mars. His personal quest to find immortality has proven almost successful, as he steals souls from various species to energize the Kry’ash Stone of Knowledge that the Ny’karins possess. An ominous abstruse virus threatens the Ny’Karins very existence and Soran promises his people a new Life, in new bodies. He is creating a new Species by gene splicing and using the energy from the Kry’ash to make the new race. Chandra must return to Nykarus, where a terrible fate awaits her, but she will stop at nothing to fulfill her destiny.

Chandra’s journey is almost complete as she leaves the haven of the Sanctuary, only to face unforeseeable perils that continue to hunt her down. Xenos takes Chandra to Barunda, but shortly after her arrival, emperor Nagar is murdered, and she is accused of the crime; Barunda’s people seek justice. Treau the changeling helps her escape, and they end up crashing in the Caspria desert, a hostile unforgiving land. When Soran gets note of Chandra’s accident he sends out a scout ship to retrieve her. She is found and brought to Nykarus; once there she is put into a rejuvenation tank where she drifts in and out of consciousness. While she drifts in darkness, the Ny’Karin Kry’ash Stone communes with her and she learns that everything that is created from the energy of the stone, is connected. It informs her that when she destroys it, she will die as well. Knowing her fate, she continues to deceive Soran even as they become intimately closer. His undoing is Kykia, the Dryadian Priestess who is reincarnated in Chandra, but even Kykia would not allow the Ny’Karins to continue their tyranny, therefore Chandra ventures to the catacombs in search of the Kry’ash. She is bent on destroying their only source of Life. While in the catacombs, she bumps into an old foe who holds a long ardent grudge against her. Will Chandra succeed in her quest? How will the destruction of the Ny’Karin Empire affect her future and the future of her descendants?
