This homepage gives an overview of the programs and projects of Construction Computer Players (C.C.P.).
C.C.P. first appeared "officially" at People Eage's II in 1986. It was the first joint project by Heiko Schlabs and Marcus Wagner. From then on the name C.C.P. always managed as a label. Even today.
The name C.C.P. is based on the basic idea that the members are actually more of a computer game player, but also "by the way" like to design and program games themselves.
At C.C.P. there was never a strict division of labor, but personal preferences developed due to the respective preferences. Everyone has always worked on everything, but you can already see a certain division of labor. For example, Heiko mainly responsible for the idea, design and graphics. He certainly programmed his own projects independently, but Marcus always developed the program code for joint projects. However, Andreas was ALWAYS the number one for the acoustic coloring. Heiko and Marcus (his title tune by Qualot is a milestone of bad compositions) have always held back or developed their own projects almost entirely without acoustic background.
The constellation that all three members worked on a project at the same time never really existed. Only temporarily at Girlguard.
This homepage contains mostly all games, programs and music that C.C.P. was developed by a member.
Unfortunately, some programs have been lost over the years, including "Isobalo" by Heiko Schlabs and "People Eage's II".
He originally came up with the idea of setting his own name for joint projects - as did the term "Construction Computer Players". He is the mental father of the label.
Heiko was always "responsible" for the idea and the graphic implementation. His passionate manner and gift for the special and unusual painting always gave the games an extravagant touch. He not only lived out his ideas on the computer, but also designed board games and wrote short stories.
Own projects: The porn test series, Isobalo, Minos and many more.
Heiko could never let go of the playful, which can be seen very well on his homepage:
Marcus always focused on programming, as Heiko and Andreas did most of the graphic work. Now Marcus is the only member who is still actively working on the Commodore 64 and thus also develops graphics and music himself.
The role-playing game "Underland" is currently in the works, which has long been nearing completion. However, if the completion is still long in coming, it could soon join the ranks of the unfinished.
Own projects: Rescue Me!, Qualot, Antic Trash, Block'n'Bubble, Rust'n'Steel, Brektwon, Catacombs of Cherubim and many more.
Favorite games: Spelunker, Gauntlet, Dungeon Master, Eye of Beholder, Realms of Impossibility, World of Warcraft, Archon, Warhammer Online, Guild Wars 2
Like Heiko, Andreas was always the graphic all-rounder. His detailed graphics were particularly effective on the Amiga, although you could already guess his real qualities on the Commodore 64. Andreas was equally creative in the musical field. He already conjured up beautiful pieces of music on the C64, but surpassed himself on the Amiga.
He also took over the helm from C.C.P. on the Amiga.
Andreas turned out to be an all-rounder on the Amiga. While he had stayed almost entirely out of programming on the C64, he showed true skill on the Amiga! The legendary Buxum Bull series, Alase, Trycon and Flood Manouvres clearly show this.
One can say that Andreas C.C.P. on which Amiga best represented.
Own projects: The Buxom Bull series, Alase, Silent Goblet, Flood Manouvres, Tygard, Traffic, Gadget, countless pieces of music and much more.
