Goals for confirmation

**Knowledge of the Bible, the Lutheran Faith, and the Catechism (Apostles Creed, Lord's Prayer, 10 Commandments, and the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion)

**Being a part of a community! Knowing that each person is a valuable member of the class, church, and God's world. This is a time when young people can establish a life-long relationship with each other, but more importantly, with GOD and the CHURCH!

**Service! Realizing that we are called to be a part of God's mission in the world in service to others!

**Individual gifts! I hope that during this time, students will realize gifts that they have from God that are individual to them and learn to celebrate and use those gifts!

**Growing into their identity as Children of God!

**Confirmation isn't the "end" of education, but rather the beginning of a lifetime of service to God and God's church.

Sunday, Oct. 19—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Wednesday, Oct. 29—ConFEST, Sugar Creek Bible Camp. Meet at Trinity at 5 p.m.

We will return at 9 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 16—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Sunday, Dec. 14—(NOTE CHANGE)—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Sunday, Jan. 18—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Wednesday, Feb. 18—Ash Wednesday, worship at Immanuel, 7 p.m. Meet at 6 p.m.

Wednesdays, Feb. 25-March 25—Lenten worship at Immanuel (7 p.m.) and dinner and conversation with mentors (6 p.m.)

Sunday, March 15—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Friday, March 20-Sunday, March 22—Retreat at Sugar Creek Bible Camp

Sunday, April 19—Confirmation, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trinity

Supper at Immanuel

Confirmation students and their families serve the meal on the 1^st Wednesday of each month at Immanuel. It is a light supper—sandwich, salad (or chips) and dessert. It can be served by one or two families together. Pastor Amanda is always willing to make something to help you out!
