CHAMADA DE PROPOSTAS: De 1 de março de 2025 a 31 de maio de 2025

O Município de Arcos de Valdevez realizará nos dias 20, 21 e 22 de Novembro  2025 o VII Congresso Internacional subordinado à temática A Casa Nobre: Um Património para o Futuro, dando desta forma seguimento a um projeto consolidado de estudo da memória, arquivo, heráldica, genealogia, defesa e valorização do património construído, turismo e desenvolvimento regional, entre outros, num evento único nas suas características e assumidamente um dos fóruns principais de reflexão, estudo e debate sobre estas temáticas ao nível nacional e internacional:

•  Memória Histórica: História da Família, Genealogia e Heráldica;

•  Arquivos e Documentação familiares;

• Património Construído: estudos, defesa e valorização;

•  Turismo e Desenvolvimento Regional.

Atrair e divulgar a investigação de qualidade em torno destes temas e problemáticas, é o objetivo central de uma iniciativa que consegue ser, também, um exemplo de cooperação entre uma Autarquia, o Município dos Arcos de Valdevez, e o CITCEM, Centro de Investigação da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. Paralelamente, este Congresso atrai muitas universidades, nacionais e estrangeiras, representadas através de vários docentes e investigadores.

 On 20, 21 and 22 November 2025, the Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez will hold the 7th International Congress on the theme of The Noble House: A Heritage for the Future, thus continuing a consolidated project for the study of memory, archives, heraldry, genealogy, the defence and enhancement of built heritage, tourism and regional development, among others, in an event that is unique in its characteristics and one of the leading forums for reflection, study and debate on these themes at national and international level:

• Historical Memory: Family History, Genealogy and Heraldry;

• Family archives and documentation;

• Built Heritage: studies, defence and enhancement;

• Tourism and Regional Development.

Attracting and disseminating quality research on these themes and issues is the central aim of an initiative that also manages to be an example of cooperation between a local authority, the Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, and CITCEM, a Research Centre of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. At the same time, this Congress attracts many national and foreign universities, represented by various lecturers and researchers.
