We love going places by boat on Clear Lake
Richmond Park: Richmond Park is a fun bar and grill is at the south end of Konocti bay, just south from straight across the lake. They make a great burger and have a full bar. Dancing most Friday and Saturday nights. Large boat dock and gas on the lake.

The Spot: There is a great little 50's diner in Clearlake on Lakeshore Drive north of Redbud Park - accessible by boat! Dock is small, though. They have indoor dining as well as patio and lawn seating, with occasional live music. Happy hour M-F 3-5. Burgers, fries, and great shakes for the little kiddies (and big kiddies!).

Braito's Buckingham Marina: is usually the best price for gas on the lake. The entrance to the marina is on the west side of the lake just south of the narrows.
Boats and Quagga Mussels: Lake County is very concerned about preventing the introduction of the Quagga Mussel into our waters. Before launching your boat or personal water craft, you will need to have it inspected for the Mussel. Please arrive at the lake with your boat clean and DRY everywhere. This will assure that your inspection will go well. The fee is $10.00 and you will get stickers for your boat and trailer. Please, there is a $1000.00 fine if you do not comply. Here are the links and the application for your boat. The closest inspection place is in Clear Lake at Clearlake Bait & Tackle at Redbud Park (which is where you can launch anyway). Do not launch at the Silverado Beach ramp unless you have a sticker, and are willing to pay the $15 launch fee.

Wine tasting
Lake County calls itself "The Undiscovered Wine Country," encouraging visitors to come and explore its high-elevation vineyards and vast and varied territory. Less well-known than the neighboring growing regions of Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino, Lake County is an ultra-premium winegrape growing region whose number of award-winning wineries continue to grow.

Walking and Water Trails:
Here is a great website with a list of hiking, biking, equestrian and water trails. You can now walk to the top of Mount Konocti, what a great view from the top.
