Konocti volcano, and beautiful sunsets across the lake. The comfortably furnished living quarters consist of a kitchen/dining area overlooking the lake, a living room (again with views of the lake and mountain), Master Suite that opens to the lake with a private bath, two spacious bedrooms, and a second bathroom.  A large covered patio, sun deck and boat dock bring you right to the glistening water’s edge.  Below is a summary of what is provided and recommendations of what you might bring.  Thank you for staying with us.

What We Supply: The property is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property:  a fully equipped kitchen, TV, stereo, BBQ grill, outdoor patio furniture, and linens including sheets, blankets, pillows and bath towels.

Kitchen/Dining:  Assorted pots and pans, baking dishes, casseroles, coffee maker, filters, blender, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, silverware, dishes, glasses, and dishwasher detergent are also provided. Round kitchenette table with four chairs and a bar/counter with two bar stools, plus a 9-foot picnic table on the patio.

Beds and Bedding:  The house sleeps 9 in beds. Master Bedroom: 1 king bed.   Bedroom 1: queen bed.  Bedroom 2: Twin Beds. Garage/Game room:  3 Cots.  Bedding: All beds have a mattress cover, sheets and a comforter. Pillows, Pillow cases and blankets are provided for each bed.  Recommend sleeping bags for the cots and for sleeping outdoors under the starry Milky Way.

Laundry: - Front load washer and dryer and folding counter. Liquid detergent for washer is provided.

Heating/Cooling: Central heat and A/C and ceiling fans. Please be conscientious by keeping the A/C on low and keeping all windows and doors closed when in use.

Fireplace: Use only one manufactured fireplace log (such as Dura-flame, Presto, etc.) at a time (not supplied).

Outdoor View Patio: Large patio table and benches, chairs with side tables and coffee table. A charcoal barbecue is provided on the patio. Please clean grill after each use, a metal brush is provided. Place cool ashes in the metal can and replace lid. Barbecue utensils and matches are located in the kitchen. Please be careful with all flammable materials especially during dry summer months.

Recommended Items To Bring: Paper products, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, charcoal and lighter fluid, sleeping bags (for cots or for sleeping outside), wash cloths, toiletries, VHS video tapes, DVDs, and CDs,  Bring Your GPS as the binder has fun paces to find with your GPS by Boat.  Liquid softener to be added to washer or dryer sheets for dryer, footwear (aqua-socks, sandals, etc.), float toys (noodles etc.), beach towels, sunscreen and life jackets.

Boat Dock: Please follow the instructions in the binder on the coffee table for operation of the suspended boat hoist and Jet Ski Rack platform to prevent damage to yourself, your boats and the dock. Monitor wind/wave conditions and raise the hoist if wave crests touch it. Do not leave extra boats on the side of the dock or hoist unattended or overnight, as the lake conditions can go from calm to steep short chop in a matter of minutes. Do not tie to other home owner’s docks or piers. A community ramp down the road at Silverado Beach ½ mile away (east toward town, at the foot of San Jose Street) is available for a $15 fee (the fee collector will find you) or free at Redbud Park in town.

On Your Last Day: Raise the boat hoist a minimum of 3 feet above the water. Any damage to the dock will forfeit your Security Deposit and possibly add additional repair charges.

Boats and Quagga Mussels:  Lake County is very concerned about preventing the introduction of the Quagga Mussel into our waters.  Before launching your boat or personal water craft, you will need to have it inspected for the Mussel.  Please arrive at the lake with your boat clean and DRY everywhere.  This will assure that your inspection will go well.  The fee is $15.00 and you will get stickers for your boat and trailer.  Please, there is a $1000.00 fine if you do not comply.  We understand that the fine can exceed $3500.00 and put a Felony conviction on your record.  WOW !!  Here are the links and the application for your boat. The closest inspection place is in Clear Lake at Clearlake Bait & Tackle at Redbud Park (which is where you can launch anyway). Do not launch at the Silverado Beach ramp unless you have a sticker, and are willing to pay the $15 launch fee.

This is our home:  If you find anything that doesn't seem right or something needs attention, please fill out a survey sheet or give us a call.  There may be another group using the house after you leave.  If you feel that we need to know about a problem or issue,  please give us a call right away.  We hope you treat our home as if it was yours. Please take care of our property while it is in your care.

About Us:  The Blacklock Family is Dave & Julie and John & Tina.  We have enjoyed vacationing at Clear Lake nearly all our lives.  In 2000, we purchased a home together on the lake as the “Family” home where our four children have been enjoying spending their summers boating, swimming, fishing, tubing, jet skiing, wake boarding, barbecuing, eating and just hanging out together at the lake.  It has been a blast for all of us.  We hope that you, too, make many wonderful memories during your vacation stay on Clear Lake.  Welcome to Casa Lakeshore!  Let the fun begin!
