I am the Department Chair in Economics at Haverford College.

I am an NBER Research Associate in Monetary Economics, a Nonresident Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and a Senior Affiliate Scholar at the Mercatus Center. I am also a member of the Editorial Board for the American Economic Review, and an Associate Editor for the Review of Economics and Statistics and the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking.

I am the author of Shock Values: Prices and Inflation in American Democracy. My research focuses on inflation, expectations, and monetary policy.

I received a Ph.D. in economics from U.C. Berkeley in 2015, and taught at Haverford College from 2015 through 2024, serving as Department Chair in 2023-24. I am an Advisory Panel member of the Catholic Research Economists Discussion Organization (CREDO) and a proud mother of five.
