Welcome to my webpage!

I am Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economic Analysis at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Director of the Master Program in Quantitative Economic Analysis, and former Head of the Department. I hold a PhD in Economics from Carlos III University.  

I am an elected council member of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), former President of the Spanish Portuguese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERNA), and co-editor of Resource & Energy Economics. 

As an applied microeconomist interested in environmental issues, my research mainly focusses on incentives and information problems related to the design and implementation of environmental policies. I also work on the modelling of voluntary sustainable practices and collaborative consumption, as well as on lab experiments to analyze behavior towards climate change.
