Welcome to my webpage!

I hold a PhD in Economics from Carlos III University.  I am Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economic Analysis at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and Director of the Master in Quantitative Economic Analysis. I have been Head of my Department in the period 2017-2019.

I am the President of the Spanish Portuguese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERNA) for the period 2022-2024, a council member of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE)  in 2024-2027, and a co-editor of Resource & Energy Economics since 2022.

As an applied microeconomist interested in environmental issues, my research mainly focusses on incentives and information problems related to the design and implementation of environmental policies. I also work on the modelling of voluntary sustainable practices and collaborative consumption, as well as on lab experiments to analyze behavior towards climate change.

In this site you can find information about my cv, published work, and some ongoing projects.
