When is the Run?
Saturday, May 25th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. sharp. We run rain or shine!
Where does the run take place?
The run will take place in scenic Wascana Park in Regina, Saskatchewan. See the Forms tab for a route map.
Is the run a full 5K?
No, the run is just short of 5km in length. It is intended to be a fun and easy event for our participants.
How do I register for the Walk/Run?
Online and in-person registration is available through the Running Room, 2118 Albert Street Regina SK. Registration forms can also be mailed to or dropped off in-person to:

What is the registration fee?
Registration fee is $20 to participate in the run.
When does registration close?
* On-line registration closes Wednesday May 22, 2019 at midnight.
* In-person registrations will be accepted at the Running Room until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 24th, 2019.
*If we have not reached our maximum number of participants, you may register on the morning of the run at the Registration Booth.
Is there an early bird draw?
Participants who register before April 30, 2019, will be eligible for a special early bird prize draw.
How do I get my run package?
Run package pick up is Friday, May 24th, 2019 at the Running Room located at 2118 Albert Street from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Run packages will still be available for pick up on Saturday morning at the Registration Booth at 9:00 a.m. Due to the high volume of participants to process we recommend picking up the package the day before the event. If you can't be there in person to pick yours up, you can have a family member or friend pick it up for you!
how do I submit my pledges?
Pledges and paper pledge forms can be submitted in person in the Cardiac Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital, or at the run package pick up on Friday May 24th, 2019 at the Running Room between 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend the package pick up, pledges may also be submitted on run day at the Registration Booth. Please make sure you come early on the event day if you are planning to bring pledges then.
can I donate online?
In partnership with the Hospitals of Regina Foundation (HRF) we are also offering an online donation option. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with information on how to set up your own online donation page. You can then share this page with your friends & family, making raising pledges easier!
Do I have to collect pledges to participate?
No. If you choose to not get pledges, the registration fee allows you to participate in the event.
What are the pledges and donations used for?
100% of the proceeds from the event will be used to purchase much needed cardiac equipment for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) and support the continuing education of CCU nursing staff.
How much money do I need to raise to get a t-shirt?
A t-shirt is available to participants who raise at least $30 in pledges over and above the $20 registration fee. The deadline to select a t-shirt is Sunday May 12, 2019. This allows us enough time to have the shirts printed and ready for run package pickup on May 24th. You will receive your t-shirt when you pick up your run package.
can i make a donation to the run and not participate?
Donations can be mailed to the Cardiac Care Unit (see address above), or dropped off in person at the unit. We also have an option for online donation where you can directly pledge a participant or make a general donation to the run.
Is there food available at the run?
Yes, there are many heart healthy snacks and beverages available immediately following the run. This is all included in your registration fee.
Can I push a stroller?
Yes! This is a family event and we encourage all members walking or "strolling".
can i bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome to walk or run the route with you provided they remain on a proper leash.
Are bikes and roller blades allowed on the route?
No. Bikes and roller blades are not allowed on the route by our participants.
How old does my child need to be to participate?
We welcome children of all ages but they must be registered to be eligible to receive prizes.
