Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. sharp. We run rain or shine!
The run will take place in scenic Wascana Park in Regina, Saskatchewan. See the Forms tab for a route map.
We have adapted the route to include a full 5 KM option. For those of you who don't want to do the full 5k don't worry it isn't mandatory. The normal route around Wascana Lake is roughly 4 KM. It is intended to be a fun and easy event for our participants.
You can register using a paper form from the Forms tab, or online using the Race Roster event page: https://raceroster.com/events/2026/112256/cardiac-care-unit-5k-walkrun
Registration fee is $20 to participate in the run.
* On-line registration closes Thursday May 21st, 2026 at midnight (11:59pm)
* In-person registrations will be accepted at the Running Room until 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 22nd, 2026.
*If we have not reached our maximum number of participants, you may register on the morning of the run at the Registration Booth.
Run package pick up is Friday, May 22nd, 2026 From 3:30-6:30pm at the Running Room. Run packages will still be available for pick up on Saturday morning at the Registration Booth starting at 9:00 a.m. Due to the volume of participants to process we recommend picking up the package the day before the event. If you can't be there in person to pick yours up, you can have a family member or friend pick it up for you!
Pledges and paper pledge forms can be submitted in person in the Cardiac Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital, or at the run package pick up on Friday, May 22nd, 2026. If you are unable to attend the package pick up, pledges may also be submitted on run day at the Registration Booth. Please make sure you come early on the event day if you are planning to bring pledges then.
In partnership with the Hospitals of Regina Foundation (HRF) we are also offering an online donation option. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with information on how to set up your own online donation page. You can then share this page with your friends & family, making raising pledges easier!

No. If you choose to not get pledges, the registration fee allows you to participate in the event.
100% of the proceeds from the event will be used to purchase much needed equipment for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) and support the continuing education of CCU Registered Nursing staff.
A t-shirt is available to participants who raise at least $30 in pledges over and above the $20 registration fee. The deadline to select a t-shirt will be determined. This allows us enough time to have the shirts printed and ready for run package pickup. You will receive your t-shirt when you pick up your run package.
Donations can be mailed to the Cardiac Care Unit, or dropped off in person at the unit. We also have an option for online donation where you can directly pledge a participant or make a general donation to the run.
