Direct Donation

The PTA Direct Donation Program supports CACC teachers and students by:

• providing funds for the purchase of supplemental learning materials included on Teacher Wishlists (last year, purchases included a globe, a classroom rug, craft supplies, and various Montessori learning materials)

• providing gifts for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

• paying for food at the Year End Picnic enjoyed by CACC families and teachers alike!

Generous donations received in the past allowed the CACC PTA to provide some extra treats and learning opportunities for students, such as an ice cream truck during field day and a technology workshop.

The PTA established the Direct Donation Program to replace multiple sales-based PTA fundraising programs (e.g., candy bars, popcorn, magazines, etc.), which are time-consuming to parents and yield only a small percentage of sales in support of the school.  By contrast, the Direct Donation Program yields 100% of your donation in support of the school and requires relatively little time on your part since your family’s time is very precious.
