Prof. Motoko Tabuse

(Eastern Michigan University)

Motoko Tabuse is a professor of Japanese in the Department of World Languages at Eastern Michigan University. She received her MA in Linguistics/TESOL from Ohio University, and Ph.D. in Foreign Language Studies from The Ohio State University. In addition, she is currently serving as Immediate Past President of the American Association of Teachers of Japanese, Chief Reader of the AP Japanese Language and Culture Examination, World Languages professional development consultant for the College Board, and American member of the Japanese Language Education Committee of the United States-Japan Conference on Cultural & Educational Interchange (CULCON). She actively conducts workshops and leadership training for world languages. She has published many articles and is a frequent speaker at conferences.
